Story of Complete Benefit Auctions

Complete Benefit Auctions is built on the motto “Mission Momentum!” It is with this mindset that we foster excellence in everything we do. We say Complete Benefit Auctions is Benefit Auction Excellence because it is! By putting your mission first, we have the ongoing spirit of fundraising and strengthening your purpose through everything we do. 


Complete Benefit Auctions is anchored by our approach to events, which, of course, stems around silent and live auctions performed by fully licensed, certified, and accredited individuals who put your mission first and are constantly reminded that our approach to your Gala, Golf Event or Fundraising effort is a direct reflection of our commitment to you, your cause, your volunteers and of course your donors. 

Chris Bohr, the founder of Complete Benefit Auctions, became an Auctioneer through his affiliation with golf and golf tournaments. From 2002 to 2005, Chris was the president of Paradise Golf, a reciprocal golf membership program operating in several markets throughout Florida. It is through that role that Chris became fully versed in the arena of successful golf tournaments, including the organization of an International tournament in Grand Bahama Island that featured over 100 golfers participating in a three-day fundraiser that included beneficiaries such as the Children’s Cancer Center and others.


Whether it is a Grand Gala with more than one thousand attendees or a smaller, more intimate affair of less than a hundred, Complete Benefit Auctions has the experience to execute with excellence!

Chris Bohr

Chris Bohr is a certified, licensed, champion Auctioneer from the Tampa Bay Area who has called hundreds of Auctions and raised millions of dollars for various causes. In his 23-year career, Chris has championed causes on a grand stage for large groups of more than a thousand and smaller, more intimate groups such as specialized trade organizations with as few as fifty people in attendance. The mission is the goal. 


Chris is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Radio and Television. A graduate of and now current instructor at the Florida Auctioneer Academy. He holds the Benefit Auction Specialist Designation with the National Auction Association and is often asked to speak at local chambers of commerce, trade organizations, and various professional fundraising groups. 

In addition to the educational accolades, Chris is also a member of the National Auction Association, President of the Auction Alliance of Florida, A member of the National Association of Realtors, the Pinellas Realtor Organization, Founding mentor to the Bay Area Young Professionals, a member of the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, and even a member of the North Bay Moose Lodge. Chris has been recognized in the business world with several awards, including Entrepreneur of The Year and Small Business of The Year, and has served on the board of directors for the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce, several community committees, and others. Chris believes that community involvement is not an invitation but a very pleasant obligation. If you need help, he’s there. 


Over the years, Chris’s proudest accomplishments include raising money to assist nonprofits in realizing and exceeding their goals with excitement and elation.


Chris is married, has a son named Christopher, and currently resides in the Tampa Bay Area. Chris is willing to travel to assist your organization in its quest to conquer its fundraising goals or to consult with you wherever you may be.
